What experience do I need to become a Solatube Premier Dealer owner?
Some home improvement industry experience is helpful, but it’s not required. We are looking for people who are customer-centric. Our products speak for themselves, so customer service is the number one priority when it comes to providing an overall, stellar customer experience. We will consider business professionals with a commitment to and enthusiasm for our systems, who possess excellent social skills and are problem solvers. We are looking for team players with excellent leadership and people skills, are tech savvy, great recruiters with sales skills, and who are willing to learn what they don’t know. And, of course, we look for investors with the appropriate capital requirements. In exchange for your commitment to the Solatube Premier Dealership, we’ll provide you the tools and support you need to operate an efficient natural light and fresh air business.
What is provided as part of the Solatube Premier Dealership program?
You have our commitment and business knowledge to help you every step of the way. Once you become an owner, you become part of our family. That means we will do everything in our power to make sure you are successful in your Solatube Premier Dealership. You and your team will attend and experience Solatube University and continue to experience life-long skills and ongoing education as long as you remain a premier Dealer owner. New owners can expect one week of training at our Solatube headquarters, as well as training at your location. You will be assigned a personal Support Manager to guide you through the initial and ongoing stages of your business, enjoy annual conferences, onsite refresher training, and access to the Solatube Premier Dealership proprietary confidential operations portal which will provide you detailed guidance for your day to day business activities.
How much will the Solatube Premier Dealership program cost me?
The total estimated investment necessary to begin operations of a Solatube Premier Dealership ranges from $35,000 to $200,000, depending on the market. There is NO franchise fee or on going royalties. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

There are no ongoing fees.
Are there any advertising fees?
There are no advertising fees, but It is important that you advertise your new venture. This is one of the keys to our success is our lead generation programs which is driven by advertising investment. For new ventures we recommend a minimum of 20% of gross sales or $10,000/month on average for year one, with a minimum of $2500/month ($30000/year) or 6% of gross revenues thereafter.
What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is five years.
